CEFPET DRY SYRUP 30ML

An orally administered extended-spectrum bactericidal semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic.
It is a prodrug, and its active metabolite is cefpodoxime Like other &-lactam antibiotics, and exerts its inhibitory effect by interfering with bacterial cell wall synthesis. It is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by Staphylococcus intermedius, Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Staphylocop cus aureus, Streptococcus canis, Streptococcus pneumonie Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumonia, Haemophilus influenza, Moraxella catarrhalix, Pasturella multocida and Proteus mirabilis in dogs and cats.
