CICLOPET 50MG

Ciclopet capsules contain ciclosporin/cyclosporine. They suppress the immune system by blocking T-cell proliferation by inhibiting calcineurin, a key signalling phosphatase, which belongs to calcineurin inhibitors.

DOSAGE
5 mg/kg body weight per day
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

PRECAUTIONS
Wash hands after use. Preserve in a tight container. Do not refrigerate.
Keep the medicine out of reach of the children. Not for human use. For treatment of dogs and cats only.
Do not use in dogs and cats less than 6 months of age. Not recommended in dogs less than 2 kg and cats less than 2.3 kg body weight.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Transient vomiting and diarrhoea may occur as the most common side effects.  Immunosuppression can be associated with an increased risk of malignancy.  Use with caution in dogs suffering from renal disease and diabetes.
Concurrent administration of azole antifungals (itraconazole and ketoconazole 5-10 mg/kg) will increase the blood concentration of ciclosporin (up to 5%) in dogs.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Keep in a dry place. Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light.
