It is most effective & successful in the treatment of bone disorders like osteomyelitis in dogs and cats.
It has high tissue concentration and is effective in the treatment of soft tissue skin infections like pyoderma, wound, and abscess.
It is also indicated in the treatment of dental infections and babesiosis.

USES/ INDICATIONS
Clivet – Clindamycin is indicated in dogs and cats for the treatment of
Bone disorder (Osteomyelitis)
Skin infection (Pyoderma)
Dental infections
Babesiosis

DOSAGE
BONE DISORDER (OSTEOMYELITIS)
11 mg/kg of body weight daily/twice a day, given orally for 28 days, efficacious treatment of post-traumatic cause by S. aureus caused Osteomyelitis in dogs.
SKIN INFECTION (PYODERMA)
High tissue concentration
Less than 0.5 MIC values for major pathogens of Soft Tissue Infection / Skin Infection / Osteomyelitis / Wound and Abscess Pyoderma 5.5-44mg/kg BID.

PRECAUTIONS
Store in a cool dry and dark place. Shake well before use.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Unknown. Safety for use in puppies/kittens or pregnant or lactating bitches or cats has not been mentioned by the manufacturer.
