USES/ INDICATIONS
First choice for systemic drug for systemic fungal infections due to Aspergillosis, Blastomycosis, Coccidioidomycosis, Cryptococcosis, Histoplasmosis, Pythiosis & Sporotrichosis.

DOSAGE
5-10 mg/kg body weight for 15 days cycle required 1-3 cycles (15 to 45 days).

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
It offers a lower incidence of side effects when compared with other medications of the same class however mild nausea, decrease in appetite, vomiting and diarrhoea are only incidentally reported.
